Operations & Client Engagement Manager

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Operations & Client Engagement Manager to help us continue to make great matches while ensuring our front stage and back office operations run seamlessly. One thing for sure: this position does not fit neatly in a box. Your mission will be to help us grow by engaging with client organizations and rock star executives, creating systems and process to deliver quality at speed time and again, and set a path for continued team expansion.

You will manage a range of projects and initiatives:

  • Engage with company owners, investors, and private equity funds to discover challenges, opportunities, and leadership needs. This role will identify opportunities to help companies with challenges from IPO to new market launch to new product or acquisition.
  • Work through entire client engagement cycle from initial contact, to evaluation of needs, candidate pitch, proposal, and contract generation. Streamline touch points and create and document repeatable process
  • Screen executives for current and future opportunities via phone and video calls. We seek out the top 2% of executive talent around the globe, and you will dive into stories and experiences to figure out who fits into the all-star category.
  • Update Salesforce records and work to improve process around opportunity management, lead generation, and updates to records, ranking, and tags
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to streamline and make improvements to lead generation and client conversion
  • Create pitches and manage lead generation and outbound outreach utilizing LinkedIn, social media, and other outlets
  • Collaborate with interims to create a library of proprietary tools and resources for client assignments
  • Work with bookkeeper to ensure timely invoicing and payments
  • Check in on executive engagements to ensure client happiness
  • Build a scalable organizational model, creating systems and processes to pave the way for future expansion of business development and executive matchmaking hires.

  • Process Improvement: Experience putting repeatable process in place and using analytics and KPIs to drive decision making
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to manage and make improvements to back office tools ranging from Salesforce to Dropbox, Basecamp and LinkedIn
  • Project Management: Experience overseeing projects end-to-end from scoping project requirements, to preparing a budget, developing a plan, managing team members, and monitoring results

Content Marketing & SEO Manager

We are seeking an entrepreneurial minded Content Marketer and SEO Manager to make sure our web presence and searchability is best in the world while driving business and building brand awareness. Just how do companies find us? That’s where you come in. Your mission will be to make sure we are found, have authentic voice, and get the message out through online advertising, chatting up bloggers and journalists worldwide, or whatever other creative means of disseminating information we – or you – dream up.

You will manage a range of digital projects:

  • Develop and implement an SEO strategy to expand our reach and relevance
  • Engage our audience of company owners, investors, and executives by generating new article ideas and creating copy for the website, emails, and newsletters on a range of challenges companies might be facing that calls for expert leadership
  • Interview executives around the globe on a variety of topics to serve as the basis for articles, landing pages, and webinars
  • Manage our content calendar and seek out freelance writers to ensure a steady stream of blogs and landing pages
  • Create systems, process, and policies to train writers on content creation standards
  • Edit articles and blog posts, utilizing SEO strategies to optimize for search
  • Implement and manage online advertising campaigns on platforms ranging from Google to Twitter and LinkedIn, tracking performance and ad spend
  • Oversee development team to design and structure new landing pages and optimize the site for conversion
  • Create and outline content for marketing materials while utilizing outside contractors from video editors to graphic designers
  • Manage lead generation via email, LinkedIn, and other social media outlets
  • Report to the team on trends and progress, by utilizing Google Analytics and other tools to monitor and measure the success of a SEO and content strategy looking at metrics such as website traffic and lead generation
  • Project management throughout the editing and publishing process of our new book on leadership, coming out Spring 2021. We will be creating and launching a new site, podcast series, and PR effort in conjunction with the launch.

One thing for sure: this position does not fit neatly in a box. You will have the opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility and get experience in different areas of the business. This role will be a key contributor to the success of the business and we are seeking someone who can dream up new ideas and work at a strategic level, while having enough entrepreneurial chops to still want to get their hands dirty at the tactical level implementing new processes, analyzing data, and problem solving.

  • Content Marketing Experience: A track record writing and editing captivating content
  • Communication Skills: Professionalism and ability to interact with executives, company owners, and board members to interview them on a range of topics
  • Project Management: An ability to oversee projects end-to-end from scoping project requirements, to preparing a budget, developing a plan and monitoring results
  • SEO Experience: Experience designing web pages, content and campaigns to create measurable results. Two+ years of SEO experience with proven results and a desire to stay up-to-date on SEO and best practices around content creation and conversion.
  • Technical Chops: Familiarity with content management systems and HTML/CSS, google analytics and understanding A/B testing. Solid technical background with an ability to lead and oversee efforts to troubleshoot everything from compatibility to server issues is a plus – icing on the cake!
  • Design Savvy: Overseeing developers, you will have to create a vision of what we want to portray on a page, which means creativity and savvy design sense is a leg up
